Business Development Manager

Description



We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager who will be responsible for driving the growth of our cloud technology services through strategic planning, business development initiatives, and client relationship management. Leveraging your expertise in cloud technologies and market trends, you will identify new business opportunities, cultivate partnerships, and lead the execution of sales strategies to expand our market presence and drive revenue growth. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud computing, strong business acumen, and excellent communication skills to effectively engage with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams. Ideal candidate will have experience in presales activities, including solution design, proposal development, and client presentations.

Responsibilities



Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market share in the cloud technology sector. Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and growth opportunities. Collaborate with management to define long-term objectives and prioritize initiatives for business growth.
Business Development and Presales Support:
Identify and qualify new leads and opportunities for cloud technology services. Build and nurture relationships with prospective clients, understanding their business needs and proposing tailored cloud solutions. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure new business partnerships and drive revenue growth. Collaborate with technical experts to design solution architectures, develop proposals, and respond to RFPs/RFIs. Conduct presentations and product workshops for clients to showcase the value proposition of our cloud technology offerings.
Client Relationship Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, maintaining regular communication to understand their evolving needs and ensure high levels of satisfaction. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and technical experts, to deliver seamless solutions and support to clients. Proactively address client concerns, escalate issues as needed, and facilitate resolution to maintain strong, long-term relationships.
Sales Performance and Reporting:
Track and analyze sales performance metrics, pipeline activity, and revenue forecasts to assess progress towards goals and identify areas for improvement. Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, providing insights into market trends, competitive landscape, and business development activities.

Requirements



Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field; Master's degree preferred. Proven track record of success in business development or sales roles within the cloud technology industry, with a deep understanding of cloud computing models and services. Strong network of industry contacts and relationships with key decision-makers in target markets. Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to translate market insights into actionable business plans. Experience with presales activities, including solution design, proposal development, and client presentations. Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.* Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
