AL SAWANI GROUP CO. was established in 1976 when it opened its first department store in Al-Khobar City (Eastern Region). Currently there are (12) department stores, over 180 retail stores and over (700) employees throughout Saudi Arabia, the Gulf Region and Lebanon. The Group is divided into Five Regional Operations and three International Operations. AL SAWANI SAUDI ARABIA. Started in 1976 with the first department store of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; in the mid eighties it developed the franchise business starting with Benetton in 1984. The company now operates 11 department stores and over 160 retail stores with over 500 employees distributed among 5 profit centers, (Department Stores, Franchise Division, Benetton Division, Wholesale Division, and Domvs Division for furniture & interior ).
