In 2000 the Arab Bank celebrated its 70th anniversary. The bank which started operations in Jerusalem on 14 July 1930 is now a leading international institution with more than 378 branches world-wide, a consistent record of profitability and an unequalled reputation for prudence and reliability. Its growth has taken place against a background of continuing political change throughout the Middle East.
