Commercial Bank of Dubai was established in 1969. CBD is a public joint stock company and its shares are quoted on the Dubai Financial Market. In 2006, Commercial Bank of Dubai reported a record net profit of 601 million, with a return on equity of 18.1% and total assets of AED 18.7 billion.
