CRS and Caritas Iraq have established joint offices in Erbil and other field offices including Duhok. We provide immediate relief assistance to meet remaining gaps in coverage, while initiating complementary assistance that aim to address IDPs’ needs in a more holistic manner. This will include targeted shelter and WASH assistance, so that IDPs can live in dignified and protected environment. CRS and Caritas will set up Child Friendly Spaces and implement other activities to help alleviate IDP’s trauma, especially in children. Finally, CRS and Caritas will assist IDPs in resuming productive livelihoods, as soon as feasible.
