About The Company THE STORY SO FAR Delta Insurance took its first breath of life in 1981 in the form of an Egyptian joint stock company. In 2004, as ongoing reforms to Egyptian industries took place, Egypt Kuwait Holding Company purchased 20.5% of Delta Insurance. As a result, a major restructuring immediately took place. Since then Delta Insurance has been evolving to become a highly competitive 21st century insurance company. THE GOOD NEWS Over the past few years, financial targets have been successfully achieved. This has of course been due to the more commercial, proactive attitude and energy that has come about since Delta Insurance became a fully private company. Major restructuring, the hiring of talented and experienced executives and specialists has allowed Delta Insurance to become in-tune with the international insurance industry of the 21st century. Increased profits and reduced operating expenses have been possible as a result of wise recruitments and creative business strategies. With over 300 professionals operating from more than 18 branches, Delta Insurance looks set to become a force to be reckoned with in the Egyptian market. Establishing a chain of strategically placed branches has enabled us to decentralize our decision making. It has also allowed us to get closer to our clients, for them to have easier access to us and be within easy reach of our business partners. We believe that by following this approach we are able to offer our customers a more dynamic and flexible service, so being able to address their needs more effectively. We have established strong underwriting guidelines to ensure swift and effortless claim settlements. By doing this we are able to comply with both our own Standards and those of our world class re insurers.
