Emirates Fire and Rescue Company - EFRC LLC - is a wholly governmental owned company operating the Technical Rescue and Quick Intervention Units of Abu Dhabi Police GHQ - in the Emirates of Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates. From 13 Fire Stations throughout these Emirates our European, Turkish and Jordanian Firefighters jointly with our indigenous colleagues provide help for the victims of fires, road-traffic-accidents, chemical spills and other emergencies wherever and whenever needed. Our GIS project was first established in September 2006 to satisfy the increasing demand for fire & safety related building information. We currently provide this information in the form of “Mission Information Books”, and ISO compliant “Escape & Rescue Plans” as well as compiling this information into our database called “Emirates Building Information System” or EBIS for short. Within a short timespan our services became highly recognized, not just within Abu Dhabi City but throughout the Emirates. We use sets of internationally recognized symbols to depict different circumstances inside and outside the building and produce standardized maps & layouts according to specifically tailored DIN/ISO standards, agreed with Abu Dhabi Police & Civil Defence.
