China •Egypt Suez Economic & Trade Cooperation Zone is the second overseas Economic & Trade cooperation area approved by Chinese government, a core area where national developing resources gathering. Jointly started by Chinese and Egyptian governments under the guidance of China’s Ministry of Commerce and the promotion of Tianjin municipal government, the Zone is run and operated by Tianjin Technology and Economic Development Area, the best development area in china. Therefore, it can be called a real “national team” among China’s overseas Economic & Trade cooperation zones. Through over three years’ development and construction, the Zone has become one of China’s best overseas Economic & Trade cooperation zones. The Zone is to be built up as a cooperation model of Sino-Egypt and Sino-Africa, providing an ideal platform for Chinese enterprises to develop themselves overseas. The Initial Area of the Zone is 1.34 KM2. And it has four major aspects. ⅠThe first one is functional division. The Area is divided into four industrial areas designed for textiles and clothing, petroleum equipment, construction material and high-& low- voltage electrical equipment industries.
