High Capabilities Telecom Co. Ltd (HICAP) is a Saudi Arabian company established in 1983. HICAP was established as part of a Farhan Commercial expansion program and as an answer to servicing the various technical needs of its growing client base. Over the last 20 years, and with a proven record of accomplishment, HICAP has become one of the leading telecommunication and technology systems integration companies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. HICAP's qualified and highly experienced technical engineering team and management team are capable of executing projects on a turnkey basis, starting from design, installation, testing, commissioning & O&M. Executed projects normally include, in addition to telecom, civil works, power generation, low current systems... etc. The following summarizes HICAP's main areas of specialization: • Satellite Communications & VSATs • Terrestrial Microwave communications • GSM Networks • VHF/UHF Wireless Trunking Systems Since its establishment, HICAP excuted a large number of vital telecom projects all over the Kingdom for governmental (MODA, MOI, MoPTT/STC, Royal Telecom... etc.), as well as private entities (GSM Operators, Oil Companies, Banks, Financial and Educational Institutions... etc.). HICAP is a licensed VSAT provider since 2003, and operates two VSAT Hubs in Riyadh. Furthermore, HICAP entered into a Teaming Agreement with ARABSAT in 2005 for marketing and implementation of VSAT projects on a regional level.
