Jordan Wood Industries Company LTD. (JWICO) was established in November 1975 as a joint-venture with Jutlandia Dore A/S of Denmark, which is the largest and most technologically advanced company for production wooden doors in Denmark. Production Started in summer 1977 with the introduction of internal flush doors. The production line gradually expanded to include external panel doors, louvered door, fire-resisting doors and plastic laminated doors. JWICO became a public share holding company at the end of 1982 and increased its paid-up capital to JD 1.5 million. In 1986 a new production line was installed for the manufacturing of panel furniture such as kitchen cabinets, bedroom and office furniture. JWICO has recently implemented a large expansion program intended to double and improve its production of kitchen cabinets, bedroom and office furniture. It includes a two storey building,as well as the purchase of machinery and equipment which will enable the company to double its production capacity of panel furniture .Total cost of the expansion project has amounted to JD 3.5 million. Production Capacity of the Kitchen & Furniture Factory: JWICO has a panel production capacity for case products including kitchens cabinets, bedroom and office furniture, of 6400 sq. ft per 8 hours shift. Production Capacity of the Door Factory: JWICO has a capacity for production of internal flush doors of 300 pcs. per shift. In addition, it produces frames and architraves,it also has a lacquering line and can supply the door leaves fully finished. JWICO can Supply: a)Kitchen Cabinets with fronts either plastic laminates, solid wood, or M.D.F. b)Bathroom Cabinets. c)Bedroom Furniture and wall units. d)Office Furniture. e)Internal flush doors either unfinished or lacquered. f)Fire resistant Doors. g)Frames and architraves for doors provided unfinished. h)Postformed & Softformed components. j)Mirror Sliding Wardrobes. j)Open Space Office System (X3)
