PGESCo, was incorporated in 1993, with share holders including the Ministry of Electricity and Energy of Egypt, Bechtel Power Corporation of the USA and the Commercial International Bank of Egypt (CIB). 1. Our Purpose To provide technical management and directly related services to develop, manage, engineer, build and operate power generation plants in Egypt and the Region. Our Core principles To provide engineering, procurement, project and construction management services related to the design of electric power generating plants of all types as well as complementary, supplementary or related services, whether locally or abroad. PGESCo is determined to maximize the utilization Of Egyptian national resources, both personal and material. PGESCO emphasizes on realizing and enhancing local Egyptian engineering capability through extensive technology transfer programs to train national engineers in current state-of-the-art design practices.
