PTC in Brief Headquartered in Jubail industrial city, Polysilicon Technology Company (PTC), is joint-venture company between KCC Corporation of Korea and Mutajadedah Energy Company, a local Saudi company jointly owned by Chemical Development Company and Joussour Holding Company. The company will establish the first Polysilicon manufacturing facility within the region and is aiming to produce around 3,000 tons of final products per year. Polysilicon, is a material consisting of small silicon crystals and is mainly used in photovoltaic and semiconductors applications. Polysilicon production is a continues process, hence the company will be running on continues 24 hours basis, 8-hour rotating shifts, 7 days a week and 365 days per year.
