The Prince Sultan Cardiac Center (PSCC) provides a major portion of the cardiac services for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Center is located in the heart of the country, the capital city Riyadh. The Center provides a full range of diagnostic and management facilities for patients ranging in age from the neonate through the to elderly. PSCC is a four-storey, five levels modern building designed to accommodate 160 beds. As a tertiary referral center in Saudi Arabia, the facility provides adult and pediatric cardiology and cardiac surgery services. There are four operating rooms and five bi-plane cardiac catheter laboratories. PSCC places a major emphasis on education and training. Symposia, workshops and specific training courses that include topics from distinguished international speakers are held regularly with staff. PSCC sponsors continuing education programs for staff (Nursing Education department) and specific training programs are available for Saudi nationals in the fields of respiratory therapy, perfusion technology, cath lab technologist and operating room technologist.
