SMC one of famous brands in Steel Industries , had invested in a steel rolling mill in Nigeria, Shagamu, Ogun State since 2010. the rolling mill producing 300,000 tons/year of Rebar from 10mm to 40mm, also capacity of 150,000 tons/year of Wire rod from5.5mm.....12mm
Our project constitutes of 4 phases that is projected to end in 2022. Meanwhile, the factory has finished its first phase and started manufacturing a high quality reinforced rebar and wire rod in coils of various sizes and lengths. SMC signed another investment Phase 2 contract with Danieli group to establish EAF melt shop of 300,000 tons/year of billet which is the raw material for our first Phase (rolling mill) and it will be commissioned on Sept, 2016
