United Mining Industries Company Limited (UMI) is a Saudi Arabian joint-venture of three of the GCC’s leading companies in the construction and building materials industry. UMI was formed to manufacture high quality gypsum products for use in local and regional markets and to provide economical product solutions for residential and commercial developments. Our captive raw material source, low energy costs and central location in the Middle East enable us to provide the construction industry with a variety of low cost, high quality gypsum products virtually on demand. In addition to our dedicated quarries, our facilities include a 114,000 m2 facility in Yanbu which is home to our head office, gypsum powder plant, gypsum board plant, warehouse and support facilities.
