Established in 1998, as a closed joint stock company with a share capital of SR 300 M (USD 80 M), Zamil Industrial Investment Company (ZIIC) is a leading industrial organization both in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East Region. Its business units are all major players in their respective industries dealing with the manufacture, distribution and sale of a full range of air conditioning products, pre-engineered buildings and glass products. With corporate headquarters and manufacturing facilities principally based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, ZIIC has a manpower count of close to 3,500 employees who are spread across various company locations in the Kingdom, the Gulf and other sites overseas. ZIIC has, in recent years, expanded its operations exporting its products to more than 40 countries around the world through network of 29 representative offices. This expansion strategy has also resulted in establishing steel factories in Vietnam and Egypt in addition to the acquisition of air conditioning factories in Austria and Italy.
