Our client is a leading healthcare organization focused on providing high-quality medical services in the North African region. They are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Chief Financial Officer to join their dynamic team in Cairo. The job holder will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy and ensuring the overall financial health of the organization within the healthcare sector. Duties & Responsibilities Financial Strategy and Planning:
Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Assess financial risks and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Provide strategic guidance to senior management on financial matters.
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to senior management, stakeholders, and the board of directors.
Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including variance analysis, profitability analysis, and financial performance evaluation.
Monitor and interpret financial indicators and trends to make informed recommendations.
Commercial Finance Management:
Oversee the financial aspects of commercial agreements, contracts, and negotiations with vendors, clients, and partners.
Provide financial analysis and insights for pricing decisions, cost control, and profitability assessment.
Collaborate with business development teams to evaluate potential investment opportunities, partnerships, and acquisitions.
Financial Operations and Control:
Establish and maintain effective financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws.
Oversee financial audits and coordinate with external auditors.
Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk.
Team Leadership and Development:
Lead and manage the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, ensuring their professional growth and development.
Foster cross-functional collaboration with other departments, promoting a cohesive and results-oriented work environment.
Knowledge, Skills, & Experience
Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
Must be a Chartered Accountant (CA, CPA, ACCA) / or MBA + any accounting qualification (CFA, CMA).
10-15 years of proven experience as a CFO or similar leadership role.
Experience with an investment management company / private equity investee company.
Experience within the healthcare sector is desirable.
Good understanding of return on shareholder value and expectations.
In-depth knowledge of commercial finance, accounting principles, and financial management best practices.
