NOK Human Capital is hiring "Chief Financial Officer" for one of the most well known Engineering & Manufacturing industries in Egypt.
The CFO has a day-today and ongoing impact on the company operations and strategic
position in the markets, helping the executive team and board of directors to analyze,
strategize, and grow company's financial position.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Lead and coordinate the development and delivery of financial policies, guidelines, and protocols across the business to ensure the company complies with regulations and good financial practice.
2. Manage organization's financial management and/or control processes.
3. Undertake strategic and tactical financial analysis, modeling, and evaluation to support business leaders in their decision making.
4. Make authoritative recommendations that have a significant impact on the business over the short and long term. Recommendations could be technical or professional in nature.
5. Manage a significant portion of the organization's risk management and/or control process. This includes contributing to the development and implementation of risk management policies and procedures.
6. Own the development of financial systems for the group. Own the governance of finance systems to ensure they adhere to group accounting and statutory rules.
7. Lead the development and implementation of strategy for an important area of responsibility within a function, anticipating complex issues, challenges, and opportunities, and ensuring integration with wider functional strategy.
8. Provide authoritative specialist guidance to senior managers enable the implementation of policy, projects, and change initiatives.
9. Identify and communicate the actions needed to implement the function's strategy and business plan within the business area or department.
10. Manage and report on performance within the department or area of responsibility; set appropriate performance objectives for direct reports and hold them accountable for achieving these.
11. Develops the strategy to achieve long-term business needs for a smaller, less complex businesses or a large, relatively autonomous subsidiary or a (group of) business(es) or strategic function which have scale and global reach and ensures implementation and execution of the strategy for the best benefit of the enterprise
Job Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Accoutning/Finance
2. CPA & MBA/DBA is a plus
3. 10-15 years of experience in interpreting strategy and policy to set and deliver objectives within medium to long time frames.
4. Engineering/Manufacturing/Construction background is preferred.
