Our ideal candidate loves all things that are hot and trendy in society but also has a deep understanding of historical elements of Saudi culture and the wider MENA region. He or she should have an entrepreneurial spirit and be hungry to jump at new opportunities, and most of all understands the importance of how words can influence the decision-making process at any stage of human behavior.
In this role you will be responsible for:
• Develop and manage a content calendar that aligns with marketing objectives.
• Conducting in-depth research on industry-related topics in order to develop original content.
• Brainstorm with the Marketing team to generate creative ideas and concepts to fulfill the required needs and to come up with the best results in the requested deadlines.
• Write high-engagement social media content, campaigns, video scripts, ideas & presentations and the company website content that are aligned with the strategy.
• Write, edit and publish engaging copies for social media networks and push notifications as well.
• Conducting keyword research and using SEO best practices to increase traffic to the company website.
• Proofreading content for errors and inconsistencies.
• Editing and polishing existing content to improve readability.
• Optimize social media content (language, message, tone) based on the behavior of our target audience
• Analyze content performance metrics and make data-driven decisions to increase engagement and reach.
Requirements• 5 years’ Experience as Content Writer.
• 2 years in Digital Marketing and Social Media agency background.
• Experience in the Saudi Market or GCC Area.
• Adept at working independently as well as a part of a team
• Creativity and ability to produce innovative and original ideas
• Being up to date with everything pop culture and the current social media trends.
• Strong portfolio of past work and ideas
• Exceptional writing in the Arabic (native) with refined writing, proofreading, editing and speaking skills
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Knowledge of digital marketing disciplines and social media platforms specifics
• Experience using task management tools
