Detailed Description of Main Activities
New Projects / Big Engineering Changes / Equipment Validation:
- Ensure the management of new projects, including the planning of equipment/product validation according to guidelines and customer specifications.
- Develop feedback, lessons learned, and Kakotora for new projects.
- Develop the control plan and internal Quality Risk Management (QRM) for new projects.
- Planning of equipment/product validation and updated tracking.
- Validation reports.
- Lessons learned / Kakotora.
- Control Plan / Inspection standards / Inspection checklist.
- Internal QRM.
- DFM checklist with open issues.
Poka Yoke / LPA Audit:
- Conduct Poka Yoke audits, simulations, and validations.
- Perform Layered Process Audits (LPA) according to a predefined plan.
Guarantee the Quality of Product & Operational Processes:
- Ensure the effectiveness of operational training and adherence to the licensing system.
- Use calibrated and controlled measurement equipment.
- Maintain the relevancy of production processes.
- Guarantee the use and control of Poka Yoke.
- Assure safe work conditions.
- Use released components and equipment.
- Validate and control products throughout the process flow.
- Adhere to Non-Conforming (NC) product procedures.
- Respect First-In, First-Out (FIFO) and product traceability along the process flow.
- Follow up on internal and external deviations.
- Create inspection standards and related documents.
- Implement and follow the action plan for claims (from the 8D report).
- Conduct product audits in accordance with procedures.
- Prepare Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation based on customer requirements.
- Stop production/delivery in case of customer risks.
- Prepare for technical reception of new projects.
- Develop an action plan for conducted audits.
- Ensure compliance with Quick Response Quality Control (QRQC).
Ensure the Respect of the QMS:
- Ensure adherence to and application of procedures and guidelines related to assembly processes.
- Comply with customer and YEMEA requirements.
- Analyze audit outputs and prepare an action plan.
- Assure the effectiveness of preventive and corrective actions.
Monitor QA Targets:
- Periodically monitor and follow up on indicators, defining an action plan in case of discrepancies.
- Process & Product weekly Balance of Scorecard (BOS).
- Parts Per Million (PPM) weekly BOS.
- Inspection/Finished Work (FW) monthly BOS.
- Prepare monthly reports & Operational BOS and recognize the quality hero of the month.
- Conduct control plan audits.
- Hold QRM weekly meetings with Material Management (MM).
- Update Kakotora weekly and monthly.
- Ensure the availability of QA records (internal defects registration).
Team Management:
- Coach the team.
- Hold periodic meetings and share information.
- Train, evaluate, and develop Layered Quality Checks (LQC).
- Ensure QA staff respect 5S, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), and QA rules.
- Manage subordinates effectively.
- Handle conflict management.
Job Qualifications:
- BSc. Engineering.
- 1 to 4 years of experience preferred in the same industry.
- Functional knowledge and skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Leadership and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in English.
