About the job Facility Engineer

Responsibilities:


  • Sorting all Folders by company according to content, dates, significance etc.
  • Creating & updating records with new files and information on the system.
  • Fixing minor issues in appliances & arranging for repairs when needed.
  • Arranging, following up and monitoring all preventive maintenance visits and assuring the visits according to the signed contracts.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Removing hazardous materials from all areas accessible to employees and guests.
  • Following up on the paperwork, payment requests and invoices for the suppliers and price offers for the maintenance according to the requirements.
  • Acquiring price offers, comparisons and handling all purchasing tasks for the supplies and consumables within scope, creating and settling custody requests for all minor requirements and purchases.
  • Keeping track of the fixed assets and their movements across company locations and offices.
  • Arranging regular maintenance of equipment and internal systems (e.g. heating system, alarms, security cameras).
  • Checking rooms and furniture to identify needs for repairs or renovations.
  • Designing and overseeing the schedule for cleaning and disinfecting the building.
  • Monitoring activities that happen outside the building, such as proper waste disposal, recycling and fixing minor malfunctions in office equipment.
  • Coordinating office and parking space allocation and keeping track of regular and ad-hoc facility expenses.
  • Conducting market research and comparing costs and benefits when evaluating new vendors.
  • Maintaining an updated record of invoices from external partners (e.g. suppliers, insurance agents, security guards).
  • Researching new services and appliances to facilitate operations.

Requirements:


  • 2-3 years of experience in facility management field.
  • Prior experience in managing large budgets.
  • Prior experience with procurement practices.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering.
  • Knowledge of MS Office, with a particular focus on MS Excel.
  • Very Good command of English (Spoken & Written).
