Overview of the role:

Responsible for following the cleaning plan and ensuring that implemented for Cairo Festival City, ensuring the provision of the highest standards of cleaning services by the contracted company, with the objective of providing a pleasant and hygienic environment.

What you will do:

• Responsible for implementing the housekeeping plan for the internal and external areas of Cairo Festival City     Obtaining not less than 90% in internal and external satisfaction polls
• Ensure that the cleaning staff are using the right equipment and tools for cleaning the various kinds of material
• Communicates expected service standards to the housekeeping staff and monitors them in terms of personal grooming, hygiene levels, communication skills, and the service offered to visitors with the objective of ensuring a superior visitor experience.
• Prepare routine reports, with the objective of keeping the management informed about all issues relating to housekeeping.
• Responsible for tracking performance levels of the contractor providing housekeeping services by routinely assessing performance.
• Manage waste recycling programs, and ensure the implementation of new initiatives 

Required Skills to be successful:

• A minimum of 10 years experience in all aspects of Housekeeping in a large, multi-use facility is required, with at least 5 years of experience as a Housekeeping Manager
• Provide and monitor individual guidance and motivation to employees.

• Bachelor's degree is required
• Previous experience managing a team of Housekeeping employees through motivation, coaching, and development.
• The ability to anticipate customer needs, change goals and direction quickly and multitask.
• Advanced knowledge of Housekeeping processes and procedures.
• Ability to maintain a budget.
• Proven excellence in customer service.
• Capable of using independent judgment/solid decision-making skills ability.
• Proven comfort and experience to interact effectively with all levels of management and clients.
• Proven job reliability, diligence, dedication, and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with general office PC applications (i.e. word processing, spreadsheets, databases)
