About the role
As a People Intern at Sylndr, you will have an incredible opportunity to gain hands-on experience and make a meaningful contribution to various aspects of our HR function. Working closely with our People Team, you will support and assist in initiatives related to employee engagement, talent acquisition, onboarding, learning and development, and HR administration. This internship is designed to provide you with valuable exposure to the field of HR, allowing you to develop essential skills for your future career.

What you'll do


  • Conduct sourcing activities to fill open positions.
  • Manage recruitment and selection processes (resume screening, screening calls, interviews, etc.)
  • Review employment applications and background check reports.
  • Design job descriptions and interview questions to reflect each position’s requirements.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador at various recruiting events with the goal of networking and relationship building with potential candidates.
  • Build long-term relationships with past and potential candidates.
  • Develop and oversee the new hire onboarding and off-boarding process.
  • Proactively seek market intelligence to gain a competitive advantage in attraction, assessment, and sourcing methodologies.
  • Suggest new ideas for improving talent acquisition activities.
  • Research talent acquisition trends in the staffing industry.
