Who You Are You are passionate about entrepreneurship and supporting founders through investment and ecosystem-building activities. You have experience analyzing business models for investment or accelerator programs. You enjoy building communities. You have exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information, confidentially. You have an extraordinary ability to perform a wide variety of tasks and the ability to change focus quickly as demands change. Ultimately, you will gain portfolio management, community-building, and investment experience by supporting and improving all portfolio management functions. And, you will have fun! Responsibilities
+ Report quarterly data to LPs and present them on time
+ Holding update calls with portfolio companies to stay updated with their performance and develop strong relationships with the founders
+ Generate deal memos
+ Follow up with legal counsel (external and internal counsel) to ensure the fund is maintaining their rights and is continuing with the best interest of the fund
+ Submit quarterly valuations to auditors and review financial statements and provide them to LPs on time
+ Provide value add support to the portfolio companies
+ Update LPs with fund performance
Minimum Qualifications
+ Background in finance, business, or similar fields.
+ Minimum of 3-4 years work experience in a relevant field such as venture capital, private equity, investment banking, investment firms, etc.
+ Strong communication and presentation skills
+ Attention to details and highly diligent with numbers
Physical Requirements
+ Flexibility to travel within the MENA region to meet portfolio companies in person and attend relevant events.
