The Purpose of the Role
Responsible for the project coordination activities
on site for BMS, Security and ELV systems in accordance with the project
specifications and time frame, engineering, consultant, and project management
team..
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to develop detailed technical plans and designs for BMS, security, and ELV systems, ensuring alignment with project objectives and client requirements.
- Conduct thorough assessments of project sites to identify technical specifications, system configurations, and integration requirements.
- Oversee the integration and configuration of BMS, security, and ELV systems, coordinating activities among technical teams to ensure seamless interoperability.
- Develop and implement system testing, verification, and validation to guarantee optimal performance and functionality.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, troubleshooting complex issues and providing solutions to technical challenges.
- Conduct comprehensive inspections and audits to identify discrepancies, deviations, or non-compliance issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle, including system designs, configurations, test plans, and as-built drawings.
- Generate detailed technical reports and progress updates for internal and external stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, technical issues, and risks.
- Identify potential technical risks and vulnerabilities associated with project activities, developing proactive mitigation strategies to minimize their impact.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to address technical issues, escalations, and change requests in a timely and effective manner.
You Must Have:
- Degree in an Engineering discipline; Electrical, Mechatronics or Mechanical.
- 5 -7 years of experience in Building Management System.
- Rigid knowledge of Standard BMS integration and communication protocols Modbus/Mbus/KNX/OPC/Lon/BACnet etc.
- Rigid experience in DDC programming and commissioning.
- Familiar with different systems databases (SQL, Postgre. …etc.)
- Remarkable troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced understanding of HVAC process, Building Automation, Energy Management, or LV systems.
- Rigid experience of handling CAD drawings and ability to analyse technical details of system drawings and schematics, with advanced understanding of mechanical and electrical symbols.
- Experience and understanding of Honeywell products and software Care/ComfortPoint/EBI/Niagara/ is a plus.
- Experience of PLC control processes and tools and SCADA systems is a plus.
- Experience of web-services and APIs is a plus.
- Experience of Fire alarm system is plus.
- Experience of MS Visio is a plus.
