JOB DETAILS:

 Position Title: Senior Business Applications Functional Analyst (Logistics & Manufacturing)

Reports to: Business Applications Manager - Functional

Location: Egypt

Unit/Division/Department/Section: Corporate Business Systems

JOB PURPOSE:

Implementation of the IT Strategy via the introduction of Business Solutions enforcement of best practices, provision of objective analysis and advice, initiation and implementation of refined processes and action plans, provision of training & support as required, auditing of business process and user practices, as well as the mapping, optimisation, design & development of those business processes

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Technology Solutions:

• Design and implement customized technology solutions by consulting with end-users and Business Managers
• Ensure project completion and timely delivery
• Measure performance against SLAs (where applicable)
• Propose front-end and back-end design and technology platforms

 Best Practices:

• Conduct site audits and develop best practice measures and key performance indicators to analyse the current practices
• Complete reviews and comments to respective operations
• Evaluate and identify number of best practices
• Analyse the results and make recommendations
• Improve, optimise and standardise Logistics & Manufacturing processes and job instructions
• Define application configuration and setup
• Advise on the optimal logistics structure for the group taking into account the business and process requirements
• Maintaining business processes documentation and user guides

 Functional Designs:

• Develop and test detailed functional designs for business solution components and prototypes
• Propose solutions to meet Business Purpose
• Ensure delivery on schedule
• Supervise functional design activities and create functional requirements for converting to application design, testing and deployment

 Support:

• Meet Business Purpose and objectives
• Support Key and End users at all sites currently using or about to implement these systems

Internal: Vice President Business Systems; Corporate IT & Business Systems Applications Team; Corporate Finance; Operational Level Management & Staff; FMHG; Technical & Sales Support (TSS); Product Engineering Division (PED); Procurement & Innovation; GCC & FPIG manufacturing divisions

External: External Solution Providers; External Consultants
