The Systems administrator role is to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the in-house information systems that support core organizational functions. This is achieved by monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all software and associated operating systems. The System administrator will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments. This individual will also mentor and provide guidance to the Systems Engineer staff. Responsibilities
Internal systems, cloud infrastructure.
Microsoft related technologies: Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, Citrix , SCCM , Domain , IIS
Virtualization technologies: VMware and Microsoft , Hyper conversed
Remote monitoring and management of system alerts and notifications
Work escalated support issues related to Microsoft’s core business solutions
Document maintenance for all computer systems and system infrastructure
Communication with clients as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages
Windows 2008R2 , 2012R2 &2016 implementation, administration and monitoring.
Multisite VMware, vSphere& vCenter management and administration.
SAN/NAS storage administration
Define and administer all aspects of multiple Windows Server 2008 R2 and 2012 R2 , 2016 Active Directory environments
Perform AD Site, Organizational Unit (OU), Users and Groups, and Group Policy management
Perform daily system monitoring, verify the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, review system and application logs, and verify completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
administration and monitoring Veam backup or equivalent
Administration and monitoring file server.
Exchange Server 2003 – 2016
Good Knowledge in Shared Storage Technology.
Administrating Antivirus server on the HQ and branches.
OS troubleshooting
Desire to work alongside the team to help design information and operational support systems
Consistently and successfully provide 1stlevel support
Excellence in communication as a liaison with vendors and other IT personnel to resolve issues
Understand service management and working with the ticking systems
Real experience with ticket and service management systems.
Requirements and Qualifications
The Systems Engineer will have a bachelor’s degree and 3 years of System Engineering experience
Proven experience with systems planning, security principles, and general software management best practices.
Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
