Vendor Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with localization vendors, overseeing effective communication, collaboration, and performance management.
Vendor Selection and Onboarding: Identify and evaluate potential localization vendors, conducting due diligence, negotiating contracts, and managing the onboarding process.
Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure vendor performance, regularly assessing and evaluating their quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness.
Contract Management: Collaborate with legal and procurement teams to negotiate, review, and manage vendor contracts, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and contractual obligations.
Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce robust quality assurance processes to ensure accurate and culturally appropriate translations, adhering to established quality standards.
Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and enhance localization workflows, tools, and technologies to improve efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
Issue Resolution: Act as the primary point of contact for vendor-related escalations, addressing and resolving any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
Performance Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in vendor performance and propose and implement corrective actions, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, linguists, content creators, and engineers, to ensure seamless integration of localized content into our products and services.
Team Leadership: Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to the vendor management team, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and professional growth.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation, International Business, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
Proven experience in localization vendor management, with a strong understanding of localization processes and best practices.
Demonstrated experience in vendor selection, onboarding, and contract management.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills to effectively engage with vendors and internal stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in using localization tools and software.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
