About the Team
We are AI team responsible for managing the corporate data lake that meets the internal Data and Reporting needs of FIS organization. The team responsible to build Corporate Data Lake - Ingesting data into lake from source systems, Provide the required support to ensure the adherence of all the data management principles including Data Quality and Data Governance, Generating the reports and business-insights to the business.
IT data architect position for CIO Platform Services Team in the Global Delivery Organization to build, optimize, maintain logical data solutions.
IT Data Architect to take complete ownership and accountability of implementing Data migration models, Build Data Modeling, Data Security, Data Governance, Identify new Data system requirements and Monitoring across organization.
Provide strong leadership and mentoring to the team members.
What you will be doing:
- Manage end-to-end data architecture, from selection of the platform, designing the technical architecture, and developing the application, testing and deploying solution.
- Design and implement effective database solutions and models to store and retrieve data.
- Examine and identify database structural necessities by evaluating platform operations, applications, and implement data strategy that is in line with business processes.
- The strategy includes data model designs, database development standards, implementation and management of data warehouses and data analytics systems.
- Assess database implementation procedures to ensure they comply with internal and external regulations (GDPR, PII, PCI etc.). Integrating technical functionality, ensuring data accessibility, accuracy, and security.
- Coordinating and collaborating with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors for the smooth functioning of the enterprise data system. Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to cloud based solutions. Monitor the system performance by performing regular tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new features.
- Recommend solutions to improve new and existing database systems. Educate team members through training and individual support.
What you Bring:
- 8 to 12 years hands on experience in Azure cloud platform and related IaaS/PaaS services.
- Experience in designing Azure cloud architecture for an enterprise covering design and build of common service rails such as Network, Security, Integration, Automation, Tools etc.
- Azure Architect with exposure to AD,MFA, Experience in designing large scale environments. Experience designing cloud architecture for private, public and hybrid cloud models using Azure
- Should have experience designing service management, orchestration, monitoring and management requirements of cloud platform Strong knowledge of enterprise architectures and cloud reference, architecture Expertise in designing High Availability, Security, DR, Backup and retention architectures. Azure Hands on experience of application migration to Azure Deploying applications on Azure
- Hands on experience with DevOps Tools and Automation using Terraform / Ansible.
- Experience in implementing robust data pipeline using Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks.
- Experience in implementing Data Lake with technologies like Azure Data Factory (ADF) Databricks, ADLS, Azure SQL Managed Instance, Microsoft Fabric.
- Good understanding of different file formats like Delta Lake, Avro, Parquet, JSON, and CSV. Good understanding and knowledge in Databricks Unity Catalog migration and Implementation.
Added bonus if you have:
- Certifications like Microsoft Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203), Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) are good to have
- Technical knowledge of information technology networks, systems, peripherals and software applications, Data migration activities, Data center technologies (both cloud and on-prem)
- Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles, i.e., waterfall, iterative and other modern approaches to software development
- Knowledge of FIS’ products and services
- Knowledge of the business goals, objectives and business operations for the appropriate FIS organization
