Power BI Developer – Senior Associate

Who we are looking for:

Power BI Developer/Senior Associate who will contribute to the development, enhancement and maintenance of Power BI Visualization/reporting applications as a member of an agile scrum team. This is an opportunity to work within a very strong development team and help to develop challenging new products in the financial space using cutting edge technology.

As a Power BI Developer you will:

• Analyze, design, model, develop and deploy the reporting/dashboard solutions using the Power BI platform

Experience required in:

• 5+ years of Power BI development experience
• Strong SQL Knowledge and hands-on experience
• Hands-on experience with DAX,  Power BI Service workspace management, User Access governance, Row-level security, Data refresh schedule and Power BI gateways
• Design and build queries, reports, and dashboards adhering to established frameworks and standard
• Sound understanding of BI best practices/ methodologies; experience with relational structures, structured query language (SQL), data warehouse and reporting techniques is a must
• Knowledge of Data warehousing concepts,  Snowflake  database, Azure Cloud, ETL

These skills will help you succeed in this role:

• Candidates with Power BI Data Analyst certification are preferred
• Taking Ownership, Problem solving, and working Collaboratively are important skills in this role
• Financial domain

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in requirements gathering, development, testing and support using the Business Intelligence tools like Power BI, Tableau
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Experience in Agile Practices
