To provide 2nd line support for Cisco Unified communications services/ Voice over IP solutions for global enterprise customers. Ensure high availability and optimal performance of all aspects of customer’s services. Constantly develop, improve and optimize existing ways of working and ensure a cost efficient delivery of services focused on multi-national customers and internal Vodafone user communities across multiple operating companies.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership
Highlight accountabilities and KPIs for the requisitioned role, which could include (but not limited to).
Operations:
•Provide input for planning, assessment, implementation, rollout and preparation of change requests.
•Resolve reported incidents within service level agreements
•Recommend and implement configuration changes to ensure that the key performance indicators are maintained at optimal values
•On-board new customers on production environment through changes, testing and updates into inventory database.
•Manage long term, sustainable relationships with Vodafone’s internal and external partners to ensure SLA and KPI compliance.
Core competencies, knowledge and experience
•Advanced knowledge in voice/VoIP networking and Cisco UC Collaboration technologies, specifically: CUCM (Cisco Unified Communications Mgr), Unity Connection (Voice mail), Presence, CUCDM/Voss, Cisco Voice Gateway (MGCP, H323, SIP), Jabber and CUBE-SP.
•Understanding of UCS machines, ESXi and Firewall, should be able to troubleshoot the devices
•Scripting/programming experience preferably Python.
•Technical knowledge in virtualisation and cloud computing.
