Purpose of Role: An exciting opportunity awaits you as an DevOps Engineer within our IIOT Applications Team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the development and deployment of our cutting-edge digital solutions. A lot of teams like App development, QA, Data etc. will rely on this role to provide support which can include setting up proper CI/CD pipelines, automating certain tasks using PowerShell, deploying certain apps and scripts to different environments etc. This role would also include regular System Admin related tasks and responsibilities.

• Extensive knowledge and experience with Microsoft Azure services and tools, including Azure Resource Manager, Azure DevOps, Azure Functions and Web Apps,Storage,Virtual Machines and Networking.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub CI/CD, or similar.
• Experience with Terraform. Other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Bicep etc. will be considered.
• Proficiency with PowerShell and the Azure CLI
• Solid understanding of networking principles, security best practices, and cloud architecture patterns.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software development requirements and ensure successful deployment and operation of applications in the cloud.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless application delivery, leveraging industry-standard tools and practices.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates,or similar technologies.
• Monitor and troubleshoot system and application performance, identifying and resolving issues to ensure optimal functionality and uptime.
• Implement and maintain robust security measures, including access controls, network security, and data encryption.
• Collaborate with software development teams to optimize application performance and scalability in the cloud environment.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in DevOps, Azure Cloud, and Python programming.
• Document technical processes, configurations, and infrastructure architecture to ensure knowledge sharing and maintain a well-documented system

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of experience in Cloud DevOps and Cloud Architecture in Azure environments & offerings (PaaS, SaaS or IaaS), Network (Subscriptions, Load balancing, Firewall and DNS)
• 2+ years of experience with Azure functions, Webbapps, Storage, MS SQL
• 2+ years of experience in Powershell scripting
• 2+ years of experience working with monitoring tools such as Application Insights
• 3+ years of experience in Production support, incident triaging and Root Cause Analysis
• 2+ years of experience with Azure build and release automation products
• 2+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code technologies (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates)
