Diesel Mechanic

Job Description:

We are seeking skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanics to join our team in Oman. This role involves maintaining, repairing, and servicing diesel-powered vehicles and machinery to ensure their optimal performance and longevity.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines and related components in vehicles and machinery.
  
• Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and engine tune-ups.
  
• Conduct system overhauls and major repairs, replacing worn or defective parts.
  
• Test and adjust systems to ensure proper functioning and compliance with specifications.
  
• Read and interpret diagnostic reports, technical manuals, and schematics.
  
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair work performed.
  
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations at all times.
  
• Provide training and guidance to junior mechanics and technicians.
  
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in diesel technology and repair techniques.
  

• Diploma or certification in diesel mechanics, automotive repair, or a related field.
  
• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
  
• Strong understanding of diesel engine systems and components.
  
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
  
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  
• Excellent mechanical and technical aptitude.
  
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  
• Physically capable of handling the demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects and working in various positions.
