Java Developer - Senior Manager

Hands-on Java Developer with 12+ years of experience in application development. The candidate needs to have a very good understanding of financial domain and of Bank Loans asset class. The Candidate is expected to have experience in delivering the solution in a complex environment using Agile. State Street Bank Loans platform is undergoing long term growth as customers choose to invest in alternative classes of investments. The candidate will be working on building next-gen Bank Loans platform.

As a Java Developer, you will be:

• Be a part of global team of software development and QA engineers.
• Should be able to work independently and collaboratively.
• Work closely with the Leads and Product Owner and others on requirements analysis, planning, project management, and execution.
• Support production systems to ensure business continuity and continuous improvement of applications supported.
• Understand user needs and put forth options for solutions.
• Anticipate critical issues and risks; take responsibility for resolution across the organization
• Provide advanced technical expertise in designing, estimating, and developing software applications to project schedule
• Work in a dynamic, fast-paced, Agile team environment.
• Ability to diagnose and solve problems with existing software

These skills will help you succeed in this role:

• Experience in working with Vendor platforms and critical transactional systems
• Minimum of 5+ Years of Experience with Java, ReactJS, Spring boot, SQL, Data warehousing Concepts
• Good understanding of financial domain preferably Bank Loans
• Experience in various platforms & technologies; Linux, Windows, EMS, Autosys, storage and networking
• Experience in agile delivery & adhering to SDLC processes
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, and collaboration experience
• Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to deal with uncertainty and organizational flux in an effective manner
• Aptitude for learning new and complex environments, processes, and technologies
