We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Infrastructure Specialist to join our dynamic team. As an Infrastructure Specialist, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing the remote infrastructure, with a primary focus on Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Infrastructure Automation and Cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of IT infrastructure, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proven track record in implementing and optimizing cloud-based solutions.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure remote access infrastructure solutions, with a strong emphasis on IaaS and cloud technologies.
- Expertise in leading cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Implement and optimize cloud services, including compute, storage, networking, and security components.
- Manage and maintain Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
- Develop Infrastructure Automation scripts such provisioning, patch management and configuration management using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies.
- Installing, configuring, and managing development and CI pipeline tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions and Artifactory.
- Implement and enforce security best practices for infrastructure components.
- Implement monitoring solutions to proactively identify and address performance issues.
- Collaborate with other IT teams, developers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure components.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience of 7+ years as an Infrastructure Specialist or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of IaaS and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience in managing large Data centres.
- Good understanding of Virtualization technologies like VMWare, Bare metal servers.
- Strong expertise in infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
- Ability to write infrastructure scripts using Python, PowerShell etc.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.
- Professional certification like CCNA, CCNP, AWS and similar is an added advantage
- Good understanding of validation Lab management, Infrastructure and Operations.

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
