Interior Site Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Oversee and direct construction projects from start to finish within a time-bound schedule.
  
• Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers, subcontractors, and laborers.
  
• Quality Control: Ensure all work is carried out to specific standards, building codes, guidelines, and regulations.
  
• Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety guidelines and building codes.
  
• Cost Management: Monitor project budgets and track expenditures, minimizing unnecessary costs.
  
• Communication: Act as the point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and other professionals.
  
• Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate project documentation and reports.
  
• Problem Solving: Address and resolve issues that arise during construction effectively and efficiently.
  

Essential Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or relevant field.
  
• Proven working experience of 1-2 years as a site supervisor or a similar role in the construction or interior design industry.
  

Required Skills:

• Strong leadership and human resources management skills.
  
• Excellent time and project management skills.
  
• Ability to read blueprints, plans, and specifications.
  
• Knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
  
• Proficiency in MS Office and relevant project management software.
  

Desirable:

• Certification in project management from recognized institutions.
  
• Experience in interior design projects is highly preferred.
  

Additional Requirements:

• Willingness to travel and supervise multiple sites across Chennai.
  
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
