As a Lead Developer, you will join the Enterprise Engineering cluster in the Product Development, Integration and Engineering chapter, you will partner with other internal experts, specializing in various aspects of Enterprise engineering. Together, the team collaborates on multiple products that contribute to Roche's internal business requirements. 

You will be accountable for leading, developing, optimizing, and managing IT services/applications. You will also focus on ensuring cost-effectiveness, scalability, and security in all aspects of the digital product lifecycle, including maintenance activities. As part of enterprise engineering, you will be involved in understanding the business application processes and functions.

Key responsibilities include;

• Lead, collaborate, and facilitate cross-functional experts to deliver a particular solution with a good understanding of the business requirements.
• Responsible for the quality of the software development, delivery, and conducting peer code review.
• Develop and publish the application/prototype with the knowledge of DevOps according to the underlying infrastructure.
• Lead the implementation and maintenance of efficient Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery pipelines to automate the delivery process. 
• Depth of subject matter expertise, the complexity of the solution landscape, mission-criticality and service levels of solutions, service delivery model, and stakeholder landscape vary according to the seniority level.

Who you are:

• Over 5 Years of relevant work experience with Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT/Engineering or over 8 Years of relevant work experience (people leadership experience is a plus).
• At least 3+ years’ experience of working in one or more multinational work environments (life science industry experience is a plus).
• Demonstrated strong experience required in Outsystems/architecture, certification of the OutSystems platform is desired.
• Possess a combination of leadership, analysis, hands-on problem solving, and a customer-service mindset.
• Effective oral and written communication skills in English. 
• Good knowledge of Computer Systems Validation (CSV) and GxP will be value-added.
• Moderate travel is required and the ability to work across multiple time zones.
