Lead Software Engineer - Angular

We are looking for an Angular expert to join our JCR team in Bangalore working in a hybrid work environment. About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer or Equivalent combinations of education, work experience, and certification will be considered
• Minimum 7 years of experience in working in software development
• Client-side tools & frameworks: AJAX, JQuery, Angular
• Agile/Scrum Software development methodologies (2 years+)
• Unix/Linux environments
• Configuration Management tools: Redmine/Bugzilla, Jenkins/Hudson, Maven experience
• Version Control: SVN, Git, Mercurial

It would be great if you also had . . .

• Basic java knowledge
• CI/CD pipeline

What will you be doing in this role?

• Responsible for the analysis, definition, design, construction, testing, installation, modification, and maintenance of properly engineered information systems, containing software as the major component to meet agreed business needs.

Our product Journal Citation Reports helps users make confident decisions with transparent, publisher-neutral journal data. Helps them to quickly understand the role of each journal in the evolving scholarly publishing landscape to make informed decisions about manuscript submission, collection development and portfolio management.
