Manager, Information Technology

Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Strategy:
  • Serve as the primary IT leader for the factory, developing and implementing IT strategies that align with the factory's objectives and drive digital transformation.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
• Digital Transformation:
  • Identify opportunities for digital innovation that can improve operational efficiency, product quality, and worker safety.
  • Implement and manage digital tools and technologies, such as IoT devices, automation systems, and data analytics platforms, to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Operations Management:
  • Ensure the smooth operation of essential IT services, including the service desk, network infrastructure, hardware support, and software applications, meeting the needs of the employees and management.
  • Manage IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget, with a focus on digitization projects that enhance factory operations.
• Vendor and Stakeholder Management:
  • Manage relationships with technology vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure the factory's IT needs are met efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • Communicate effectively with India business leadership team to align IT initiatives with business goals.
• Cyber and Compliance:
  • Ensure the protection of digital assets and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for IT services critical to factory operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in IT management, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting, with a track record of leading digital transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and how digital technologies can be applied to improve them.
• Experience managing IT operations and services, including service desks, network infrastructure, and application management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Knowledge of IT security best practices and compliance requirements relevant to the manufacturing industry.
