In this role, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling of the materials required to execute the business. Works with the sales and commercial team, region personnel, AMO and supply chain to translate the demand (forecasts, sales orders, planned orders) across multiple time horizons into physical orders and ensures they are delivered to meet the customer requirements.


As a Manager, Master Scheduling, you will be responsible for:


  • Working with the region sales and operations to create the regional forecast (12-18 months) and global forecasts.
  • Working with the sales and operations team to convert the demand plans into physical orders.
  • Understanding the business trends, and opportunities and how they impact the demand forecast.
  • Analyzing incoming demand identifies order exceptions, misalignment with product rationalization strategy and opportunities to utilize existing inventory.
  • Planning and scheduling order timelines to be consistent with customer requirements while minimizing inventory and shipping costs.
  • Working with the Product Line/Sales/Service Delivery to prioritize delivery dates as needed (push-outs, pull-ins)
  • Performing various material management analyses such as statistical material consumption and forecasts, aged inventory, aged PO, in-transit material analysis, safety stock, etc.
  • Implementing inventory stocking strategies
  • Monitoring levels of safety stock, global and ageing inventory and working with regions and manufacturing plants to address accordingly.
  • Assisting with product life cycle management for new and obsolete products to ensure they are incorporated into the S&OP process.
  • Assisting in driving product line make-to-stock (MTS), make-to-order (MTO), configure-to-order (CTO) and engineer-to-order (ETO) standards are implemented in the S&OP process.

To be successful in this role you will:


  • Have a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in order management, inventory optimization and management, asset utilization and management.
  • Have an Intermediate knowledge of SAP and MRP functionality.
  • Be able to work with and influence stakeholders.
  • Have strategic thinking with tactical execution with a sense of urgency.
