Position Summary

This position is located within the Analytics and Business Intelligence group, which provides actionable and advanced reporting & BI reporting solutions to support MetLife Business operations and strategy.  The incumbent would work as part of this team to support the projects in traditional BI tools.

Job Responsibilities

• Use Analytics & BI tools to determine the root cause and production related issues.
• Work directly with reporting team to ensure on-going operational and new work complies with requirement and ETL best practices and standards using Informatica.
• Apply ETL skills to load the physical layer based on understanding of timing of data loads, data transformation and optimization of ETL load performance.
• Drive and develop new scheduling & debugging jobs through Control-M, Maestro etc.
• Improve existing data designs and develop new pipelines using Informatica, Unix shell scripting
• Collaborate with multiple teams (data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders) to deploy ETL solutions.
• Support business user questions about the data and provide documentation and training when and where necessary.

Education, Technical Skills & Other Critical Requirement

Education

Bachelor’s degree (Any Stream) or diploma with a minimum of 15 years of education.

Experience

Technical Skills

• Expertise in providing ETL solutions through Informatica
• Experience in writing, tuning PL/SQL and shell scripting
• Experience in Agile framework
• Knowledge and experience on Service Now
• Experience in Azure DevOps
