Software Requirements:- Proficient in Murex, including Murex CI/CD tools and technologies
- Hands-on experience with environment management, batch processing, and end-of-day (EOD) processes
- Familiarity with version control systems, continuous integration, and continuous delivery tools
- Knowledge of scripting languages for automation (e.g., Shell, Python, or Perl)
- Understanding of SQL and database management
Overall Responsibilities:- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Murex environments
- Manage and optimize Murex environments, ensuring stability and efficiency
- Coordinate and execute end-of-day (EOD) batch processing activities
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration of Murex environments
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to Murex environments and CI/CD pipeline
- Document processes, best practices, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for environment management and CI/CD
Categorywise Technical Skills:Murex Environment Management:
- Configuration of Murex environments (e.g., DataMart, Back Office, Accounting)
- Understanding of environment sizing, resource allocation, and capacity planning
- Knowledge of Murex modules and interdependencies within the environment
CI/CD for Murex:
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar
- Automation of application deployments, testing, and release management
- Integration of Murex deployments with CI/CD pipelines
Batches & EOD Processes:
- Execution and management of end-of-day batch processes
- Monitoring and troubleshooting of batch job failures
- Optimize batch processing for improved performance and scalability
Experience:- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- At least X years of experience in Murex environment management and CI/CD implementation
- Proven track record of successfully deploying Murex solutions and managing related infrastructure
Day-to-Day Activities:- Collaborate with development teams to analyze, configure, and deploy Murex solutions
- Monitor and manage CI/CD pipelines, addressing issues and ensuring smooth deployments
- Execute and oversee EOD batch processing activities, including error handling and resolution
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical expertise
Qualifications & Soft Skills:- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to issue resolution
- Murex certification or relevant training is a plus
