Within the Digital (D) function, the Governance and Transformation department plays a key transversal role in enabling the IM and Digital Transformation, from FRAMING - expressing strategic intentions and defining simple, flexible and scalable frames - to SUPPORTING Domains and PSL’s while ensuring alignment between functions and divisions - to REPORTING through consolidated views, highlighting hotspots and relevant needs for support & decision-making. 


In India, the Function Management team plays a key transversal role in promoting synergies between multiple domains across Airbus worldwide & Suppliers with a flexible and adaptable approach which helps in sharing best practices, innovation, operational excellence and being efficient with cost, quality and time.


A vacancy for a Project Management Executive has arisen within Airbus in Bangalore site for the Digital function. You will be part of the Governance department and Function Management team within that, whose responsibilities are the Business Operations Management, PMO Support, Facilities Liaison and managing the Administrative activities.You will work in collaboration with all the Digital domains and Business Stakeholders across Airbus’ divisions within Bangalore Digital operations and across business perimeters. 


About You


Skills & Competencies:


  • Act as a bridge and as an operational interface for all the Airbus India D & IM teams and the cross-functional departments. 


  • Be agile, proactive and inquisitive


  • Able to work in multi-functional teams with effective stakeholder management skills. 


  • Speak up & able to adjust communication style to all levels of the organisation


  • Good level of emotional intelligence as well as active listening, problem solving and critical thinking skills


  • Linguistic skill: Negotiation level of English


  • Good proficiency in project management skills mainly in organising the tasks as per priority set by the business and delivering them on time.


  • Documentation and digitization skills in managing the daily activities.


  • Hands on experience in G-Suite, ServiceNow tool, SAP and Coupa tool sets is a plus


  • Hands on experience in dashboarding and data modelling and reporting (ad hoc report generation) techniques. Google AppScript or Qlik sense tool knowledge is a plus.


  • Knowledge/Certification in Waterfall / Agile/ SAFe project methodologies is a plus.


  • Team playing ability and collaborative mindset.


  • Experience in Stakeholder management - excellent and adaptive communication with diverse audiences & skills


  • Learning ability, curiosity and creativity, independence of mind and innovative "out of the box" mindset


Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Prioritise the list of tasks assigned by the Function Management Leadership on the transversal business topics.


  • Collaboration with all functions to execute the daily activities and follow up for the progress and status reporting.


  • Monthly billing data collection from the Group Managers and teams for invoicing consolidation.


  • Seating plan management for the Digital function employees across the site in the Bangalore office.


  • India Roof Digital function level PMO coordination.


  • Collect, prepare and manage the business operations KPI’s Dashboard of the entire Digital India business activities.


  • Manage and deliver the tasks within the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA).


  • High focus on the transversal governance and associated KPIs.


  • Establish suitable stakeholder networks and manage them effectively for the feedback loop and timely support.


  • Be curious and passionate about improving and simplifying processes to maximise value and using the latest technologies/tool sets.


  • Have strong storytelling skills and be able to provide handy business analytics insights to the Head of the Department and the Management team.


  • Have strong value management skills and critical thinking essential to enhance the possibility of success


  • Liaise with Facilities function for the workplace related topics.


  • Administrative support and coordination with the relevant functions for the events booking.


  • Embrace diversity and background of thought, use the collective intelligence and creativity to drive towards operational excellence 


Qualification: Any Graduate/Post graduate degree. (such as information technology, applied mathematics, engineering, business administration and management).


Experience: 4+ Years 


This position is appointed under the Function Management, Digital Governance department of Airbus India Digital function.


Functional Area: Governance / Transversal Business Operation Management
