Your Role


Gensler’s Asia-Pacific and Middle East region is seeking a Regional Talent Acquisition Specialist to support our ambitious growth plans across our locations including UAE, Saudi Arabia, India, Singapore, Japan and Australia. You will be an integral part of the effort to bring top talent into the firm, focusing your time on candidate sourcing and managing daily recruiting activities, including all stages of the candidate journey.


This role reports into the Regional Talent Acquisition Leader and is part of the Regional HR Team. We’re a highly collaborative team and we love what we do. As a TA Specialist you are committed to providing the highest quality customer experience to both hiring managers and candidates. You recognize the importance of investing time in candidates at all stages of their career. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can easily shift gears based on priorities. Most importantly, you love recruiting and want to work with a team of like-minded individuals. What You Will Do


  • Proactively source candidates through networking with employees, professional organizations, social media, and other channels.
  • Provide the “exceptional candidate experience” for prospective candidates across all roles.
  • Network and engage with top talent across the industry.
  • Build a pipeline of targeted prospects for Gensler by developing relationships with candidates as a trusted advisor.
  • Advertise roles and review applications and select candidates to be presented to hiring teams in each office.
  • Support the full life-cycle recruitment process, from research and sourcing through the interview process, with both active and passive candidates from emerging talent through executive leadership.
  • Manage the logistics of candidate assessment, candidate presentation, scheduling interviews and providing background information to key stake holders, follow-up feedback and reference checking.
  • Partner with Regional TA Leader and HR in the region to define, implement and execute effective recruitment strategies.
  • Track and update all interview evaluation forms  and Knowledge Smart assessment results in Workday.
  • Maintain applicant status changes in Workday throughout the process.
  • Manage and report on candidate and recruiting activity.
  • Maintain University Recruiting calendar of events for our Internship Program
  • Foster a One Firm culture and an environment that is consistent with the firm’s values and strategic goals. Act as an integrator across the region.
  • Develop and constantly evolve the Gensler employment value proposition and brand.
  • Represent Gensler as a Brand Ambassador, promoting our firm through recruitment marketing, social media platforms, industry events, and one-on-one conversations.

Your Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, and 2-5 years of talent acquisition experience, ideally inclusive of 2+ years recruiting in a professional services environment.
  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System, Workday highly preferred.
  • Strong track record demonstrating superior ability to source and attract top talent, assess capability for both technical and interpersonal fit, discuss compensation, and deliver well qualified candidates.
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced and high-growth environment, handling multiple simultaneous deadlines.
  • Fantastic memory and organization for all things related to recruiting talent (candidates, competitors, projects, connections to the firm, etc.)
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Team player with the ability to establish collaborative working relationships at all levels.
  • High initiative and self-motivated.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
