Department OverviewThis role will be based out of Gurgaon reporting to the Country Head India Business and part of the South Asia team in Asia Pacific.
Job Description

• Reporting directly to Country Head, the Sales Manager will work directly with the end customers as well as through SI Partners to achieve exceptional sales results.


 • This individual should have experience of dealing with the India Military vertical and should be conversant with the hierarchies and the functioning of all the three defense forces and paramilitary organizations.  


• Sales experience of 10 to 15 years. 


 • Direct Sales management Professional, capable of holding meetings with the highest rank officials in the Military verticals.


Capable of handling issues of the highest impact to the organization which can have a significant influence on key business decisions and results.


The SM will use their prior experience to craft out growth strategies and improve market share and achieve greater market penetration for the Direct Business.


 Work with business development and regional teams to uncover high growth segments or untapped opportunities and develop actionable plans that are time bound and measurable  to maintain market leadership.


Familiar and experienced in Business, Sales, Marketing and Relationship Management.



Basic Requirements

• Engineering Degree and above preferably in lectronics/Electrical/Telecommunication streams


 • 10 to 15 years of Work Exp in Direct Sales preferably in the field of Mission Critical Voice/Video/Data Solutions Industry ( RF Wireless/Command & Control, Video Surveillance & Analytics, LTE Broadband )


 • Proven skills in negotiation


 • Technical prowess – understand the Varied Solution Portfolio and its positioning and complexities 


• Working in a fast paced multicultural environment and embrace Strong understanding of the Systems business ecosystems 


 • Proven ability to operate across all functions of a company from senior levels down: Sales and Operations, Project Management and Finance. 


• Excellent communication (verbal and nonverbal), presentation & interpersonal skills 


• Highly organized with the ability to work well under time pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously 


• Must be creative, a self starter, team player, fast learner, detail oriented, and conscientious with a  have a high sense of integrity and ethics in the workplace.
