As a Security Architect, you will be working directly with product development teams, regulatory, corporate IT, architecture office, and security officers in establishing the secure product development value chain for healthcare devices (IoT/Edge) and services in the cloud.
The Security Architect performs the technical leadership, facilitation, analysis, design and prototyping tasks required to ensure the end-to-end security and privacy by design of Roche’s products.
You are the trusted advisor of the Product Lifecycle Teams and R&D Engineering leadership. You are the global recognized expert of Roche Diagnostics in the security domains Identity & Access Management and cryptography.
Your Opportunity
Define the security viewpoints of the target solution architecture and implementation roadmaps of Roche’s product portfolio (“Cloud”, “Edge” and “Fog”)
Design, prototype and implement technical controls, security patterns, concepts, building blocks considering regulatory and legal requirements to achieve full compliance.
Specify the security requirements, architecture, design and technology standards for today’s and future Roche Diagnostics’ products focused on IAM and cryptography
Coach Software Architects and keep PSPO colleagues up-to-date in Identity Access Management and Cryptography security domains
Design and develop the secrets management practices and tools in development and operations
Who you are
Possess Degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science or relevant area of study with 3+ years of related professional work experience as architect of commercial cloud solutions, skills on mobile applications are an advantage
Possess 3+ years of related work experience in Identity & Access Management with solid expertise or strong academic knowledge in cryptography, PKI and certificates
Skilled in managing cross-functional stakeholder relationships in a complex organization
Excellent people, leadership, analytical, and written/verbal communication skills. Ability to inspire and influence lifecycle leaders, lead architects and senior leadership
Hands-on experience in Active Directory in the following areas: Multi-factor Authentication (MFA), Passwordless Authentication (e.g., FIDO2), Certificate Management (e.g., PKI), Domain Services, Single-Sign-On (SSO) or Conditional Access (CA), Application Registration
Profound understanding and hand-on experience in general identity and security protocols (e.g., SAML, OAuth, OIDC, Kerberos)
Extended knowledge of data encryption algorithms, standards and encryption hardware modules (e.g. TPM)
Have the ability to take ownership, be effective with limited supervision and able to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly

Location
The role will be based in Pune, India
As this position is a global role, international business travel will be required depending upon the business location of the successful candidate and ongoing business project activities.
