Senior Data Analyst | Research Operations | Noida Area / Remote

At the heart of Savanta is our brilliantly talented Research Operations team, where we currently have an opening for a Data Analyst or Senior Data Analyst with existing experience and technical ability to join our New Delhi or Mumbai locations.

The Role

As Data Analyst or Senior Data Analyst, you will work alongside Survey Programmers and the wider Operations function with responsibility for the fast and accurate turnaround of high-quality data delivery.  

Day-to-day your responsibilities will extend to:

• Directly participating in the production and proofing of data operations deliverables;
• Data processing, including re-coding and weighting data, running cross-tabs and creating charts;
• Juggling a fluid schedule; prioritising and re-prioritising tasks within an evolving workload;
• Taking ownership of medium complexity projects with responsibility for delivery of research data; 
• Assisting in managing client relationships as and when required with a focus on improving quality, efficiency and profitability; 
• Advising clients on requirements, analysis and statistical methods; in person and by email/phone;
• Handling multiple concurrent projects, ensuring deadlines are met and quality controls are upheld;
• Utilising bespoke technology to visualise data outputs and QA'ing data outputs;
• Assisting colleagues when workloads require and embracing Savanta's brand values.

About You 

With exposure to all core functions across a fast paced, growing business, this role is ideally suited to someone with a good knowledge of the market research operations looking to expand their knowledge and skill set to advance their career at pace.

The successful applicant will also demonstrate:

• A minimum of 2 years' relevant and comparable experience working with data;
• Knowledge of survey design, data modelling and analysis, production of visuals and presentations;
• Proven ability to prioritise with a track record of meeting deadlines and working to time constraints;
• Advanced English language communication skills - both verbal and written;
• Ability to adapt and remain focused in a dynamic, fast-paced and growing business;
• Exceptional attention to detail with an analytical problem-solving mindset;
• Experience of using a statistical package such as SPSS and/or Q Pro (advantageous);
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel with VBA macro writing (advantageous);
• Programming knowledge in a major programming language (advantageous).
