Job Description:
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) regarding importation processes.
- Author and maintain import related standards, procedures, and job aids.
- Assist with other 3M legal entities to support them in the acquisition and maintenance of their respected Cargo Security Programs (OEA, AEO, PIP, CTPAT, etc.).
- Provide support for both internal and external audits pertaining to import processes.
- Maintain business process functionality for duty recovery programs.
- Engage with Customs agencies as needed.
- Conduct annual reviews of business unit processes and controls, activities, and data to determine overall level of compliance.
- Manage valuation determinations and post summary corrections.
- Manage advance manifest programs.
- Screen 3M’s imports for Anti-dumping and Countervailing Duties (AD/CVD)
- Manage other import matters such as customs clearance, Broker SOPs, Customs Bonds, Customs Valuation, Incoterms® and inquiries from Customs and other partnering government agencies.
