About the Job:

To support the National Aftersales Manager at operational level, the National After Sales Operations Manager will develop the Aftersales departments throughout the Emirates with weekly visit schedules that will enhance and improve each site, to maximise the business potential in achievement of budget and customer engagement results. The incumbent will also work closely with departmental managers to identify training requirements, staffing levels and employee productivity measurement and ensure the Retail Toyota business complies with all Dealer Standards in Kaizen, Vehicle Health Check and Right First Time programs.

The main responsibilities for this role will include:

- Organise, direct and control the activities of the Aftersales Branches to exceed budgets, ensuring optimum use of all personnel and facilities resource.
- Conduct daily analysis and coaching on labour, parts and additional product sales in both Service and Parts departments, establish group KPI's per Service and Parts Advisors with performance management reviews
- Ensure Service Branches comply with the "Fix it Right" program, working closely with the distributor in the implementation of a robust and measurable program
- Ensure that all staff training requirements are identified and communicated to the AFM Academy in line with job specific requirements to ensure active staff and customer engagement.
- Implement new ideas/systems to ensure proper workshop layout, workshop loading, equipment maintenance, and facility utilization that creates an efficient and customer focused environment.
- Review open Work In Progress and reduce over aged WIP to within 7 days at Service Sites
- Work with the key stake holders towards effective Employee engagement

We are looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to join their Restaurant group in Kuwait.

JOB OVERVIEW

The job holder will be responsible for managing the P&L and driving sales for the restaurant through efficient operations, customer service delivery, food quality, motivation and retention of restaurant personnel and adherence to company standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Focus
• Effective resource planning for customer service
• Ensure regular training of restaurant staff on all aspects of customer service, product knowledge and selling skills
• Implements a high standard of customer focus within the restaurant
• Regularly assesses customer service standards within the restaurant
• Create seamless customer service orientation among employees by ensuring timely and efficient customer service
• Ensure customer needs are met and complaints/ queries are resolved in a timely manner
• Assess mystery diner feedback and prepare action plan for improvement

Sales and Commercial Profit
• Achieve the revenue targets for the restaurant
• Actively seeks ways to achieve or exceed restaurant sales targets including upselling and promotions
• Monitor and control expenses (overtime/ wastage etc) through efficient restaurant operations
• Interpret and act on operational profit and sales reports generated through finance and focus on improving under-performing areas
• Monitor sales performance against last year, last week and budget on a daily and weekly basis and to give feedback to managers and also to communicate to staff

Restaurant Keeping and Standards
• Ensure accurate stock ordering and management (stock ageing, stock loss, space management) within the restaurant
• Oversee and monitor all point of sales activities in the restaurant which includes - sales transactions, registering sale and maintaining inventory updates, providing service, handling wastage, gathering consumer data for feedback etc
• Ensure that the restaurant is in compliance with the company policy for all employment and state laws, including wage and hour, human rights and equal employment opportunities
• Ensure the company policy and procedures are communicated in a timely manner and adhered to accordingly
• Oversee cash transaction entry and management (petty cash, pos cash elements, change floats)
• Regularly audit own restaurant administration and resolve any issues
• Maintain high standards of visual appearance throughout the restaurant including all kitchen areas
• Maintain a high level of restaurant health and security
• Ensure seasonal peaks, important trading/ promotional events are taken account of when preparing forecasts and staff rosters

People Management
• Ensure restaurant expectations and priorities are communicated to staff
• Ensure strong knowledge on Upsells, specials and promotions across all menu
• Review and provide regular feedback on staff’s performance against expectations
• Carry out regular and relevant in- restaurant training and enroll staff on relevant Learning and Development courses
• Support induction of new recruits
• Monitor staff welfare (staff accommodation and transport) and facilitate complaint resolution
• Oversee staff development and drive motivation levels of the restaurant associates
• Ensure effective resource planning and succession planning

Key External Interaction with
