*The project engineer will be responsible for overall project execution. He will ensure that the agreed upon design is implemented and delivered to the client in the promised time-frame within a specified budget.

The Division:

Property
The Property division covers all aspects of Alshaya's retail property. including market studies, brand expansion planning, budget approval, site leasing and acquisition, store design and project management. After handing over a completed store, the division continues to handle maintenance and facilities management.
Internally, the division interacts with brand teams, Operations, Finance, Logistics, IT and HR. Externally, the focus is on building long-term relationships with host brands, developers, suppliers and contactors.
The division regularly reviews store performance and drives store refurbishment and relocation to ensure meeting company and brand expectations in regard to quality and profitability.

The Role:

Responsible for producing CAD (Computer Aided Design) drawings for issue both internally & to franchise partners for brand drawings, and for maintaining the drawing, plan, & site-photo libraries. Prepare project program to carry out work on site. Occasionally prepare bill of quantities for the projects.

About the Job:

We are seeking to hire a Carpenter Coordinator for our new IKEA store in Doha Festival City.
The successful candidate will suport the Communication and Interior Design (Comm & In) team in visualizing the uniqueness of the IKEA product range throughout the store by securing a high quality of wall and floor installations, carpentry, paint work and, where appropriate, other craft skills in all areas of the store and to create simple, safe and cost-effective carpentry solutions of a high quality.

Interior Designer Job - Bait Al-Aliat

- Design, execute & on site engineering.
- 3D modeling, Layout Planning, perspectives designing, color scheming, prepare presentations.
- Provide solutions for project implementation considering customers needs & time frame.
- Follow-up during the sales-cycle and supporting the sales team to translate client requirements.
- Preparation of bill of quantities.
- Preparation to tender and contract documents.
- Review and preparation of tender reports and analysis

INTERNAL RELATIONSHIP:
Close liaison with the division Manager & staff

EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIP:
Meeting with clients & visiting sites.
- To provide design solution
- To generate shop drawings
- To give technical support to Sales team
- To assist in product selection and sourcing of suitable materials for projects
